Melissa Yvonne Pham is a Naarm/Melbourne-based artist with a growing presence in both theatre and on camera. She continues to develop a multidisciplinary approach that bridges commercial performance and contemporary dance practice.
Her screen work includes appearances in music videos for artists such as Angus & Julia Stone, George Alice, Jennifer Loveless, Kite String Tangle, Tash Sultana, and Gretta Ray.
As a performer, Melissa has appeared in major contemporary works including Manifesto and Auto Cannibal with Stephanie Lake Company, 4/4 (Chunky Move), Drenched (Caetlyn Watson), NON_TA_response (Antony Hamilton) and 7 Dances for 7 People (Tra Mi Dinh). Most recently, she performed a solo work GLOW as part of RISING festival 2026 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this work’s return. Melissa also premiered Chunky Move’s U>N>I>T>E>D as part of Asia TOPA and has toured the work internationally through 2025–2026.
In collaboration with Jayden Wall, Melissa co-choreographed and premiered their debut full-length work Flesh Vessel at Dancehouse in early 2024, later re-commissioned for DanceX (The Australian Ballet, 2025). She and Jayden were also commissioned choreographers for the inaugural season of ESCALATOR in 2023, creating the work SENSE NOW.
