Stephanie Lake Company Works: The Chronicles

Ashley McLellan is a contemporary dancer, teacher and choreographer based in Naarm (Melbourne), Australia.

She joined Stephanie Lake Company in 2023 for the development of The Chronicles, and joined the cast for performances at Sydney Festival, RISING Festival and Brisbane Festival.

She has worked with various companies and artists including; Dancenorth Australia (2015 – 2020), Lucy Guerin Inc., Melanie Lane, Gideon Obarzanek, Opera Australia, and the West Australian Ballet to name a few. 

Choreographically Ashley has created works; Other, Pearl (for Lucy Guerin’s ‘Pieces for Small Spaces’), Free Dive and Laguna 20 (for Dancenorth’s ‘Tomorrow Makers’ Seasons) and Veiled Wild for Transit Dance in 2021.
